【聯合國教科文組織快訊】

 

聯合國教科文組織會員國為了表達對卸任總幹事松浦晃一郎的崇高敬意,特地選定在1022日星期四,教科文組織第35屆會員國大會的全體會議上,歡送會將在塞內加爾總統阿波度雷瓦德(Abdoulaye Wade)出席下盛大舉行。

歡送會上的節目包括由各選舉分區的主委們向松浦先生致敬,播映松浦先生任內僕僕風塵橫越全世界的各項活動,以及全球110位領袖人物對於卸任總幹事10年任期內貢獻所寫下的感謝之詞。

為了以實證說明松浦先生大力倡導及保護非物質文化遺產的重要作用,來自世界各地的藝術家將在歡送會上表演三段節目:琴演奏家Mieko MiyazakiFumie Hihara將與打擊樂手Jinya Imai合作帶來傳統與現代日本的樂曲;Orlando DiasDelphine Robin將追尋阿根廷探戈的發展歷程;著名的剛果音樂家Ray Lema則將演出他自己創作的兩首鋼琴曲。

UNESCO Member States will pay homage to the Organization’s outgoing Director-General, Mr Koïchiro Matsuura, during a Plenary Meeting of the 35th Session of the General Conference on Thursday, 22 October. The ceremony will be held in the presence of Mr Abdoulaye Wade, President of Senegal.

The programme includes tributes from the Presidents of the electoral groups, videos illustrating Mr Matsuura’s actions worldwide and messages from some of the 110 leaders and personalities from around the world who have written in acknowledgement of the outgoing Director-General’s 10-year mandate.

Illustrating the importance that Mr Matsuura attached to promoting and safeguarding intangible cultural heritage, artists from across the world will perform three interludes: the Koto players, Mieko Miyazaki and Fumie Hihara, accompanied by percussionist Jinya Imai, will perform both traditional and modern melodies from Japan; dancers Orlando Dias and Delphine Robin will trace the history of the Argentinian tango and the renowned Congolese musician Ray Lema will perform two of his piano compositions.
